The Bill (Reg. No. 2189) bridges legislative gaps in the higher education sector, creates favourable conditions for obtainment of higher education by the citizens of Ukraine, especially by the disabled persons.
The Bill introduces amendments to Article 22 of the Law "On the Principles of Social Protection of the Disabled in Ukraine", pursuant to which a person who was registered as a disabled person, having obtained higher education of particular educational and qualification level, and can not work by profession due to medical conclusion, is entitled to free obtainment of second higher education of similar or another educational and qualification level at the different department at the public or municipal higher education establishments.
Moreover, the Bill amends a number of sectoral educational and tax legislative acts.
